Growing Microgreens Workshop Series

Taught by Day 1 Supply founder, Jermain Dent, Master Gardener

Liberty Village Project is proud to welcome Day 1 Supply founder, Jermain Dent, who will host a FREE 15-week workshop, Growing Microgreens. Learning how to grow and use micro greens in your diet is essential for a healthy lifestyle.

Health Benefits of Microgreens

Micro greens are packed with nutrients and contents that vary slightly. Most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper. Micro greens are also a great source of beneficial plant compounds such as antioxidants and are five times higher on average nutrient densities than mature leaves. Micro greens such as radish, peas broccoli, sunflower, contain up to 40 times higher levels of vital nutrients than their mature counterparts. Micro greens are safe to eat raw, just like any other vegetable, if they're grown, handled, and processed properly.
